It was a lovely sunny day when Danni, Sumy and I jumped into their car and went to Virginia Waters, located on the southern edge of Windsor Great Park, in north west Surrey. We were able to make the most of the sunny warm weather.
Even though Dennis and Sumy are formally getting engaged, the couple had to ask the marriage permission from the parents first. Therefore, Dennis hadn't had a chance to propose to Sumy yet, and warned me shortly before the shoot that he would do so that day. We had to secretly communicate while being on the shoot, and chose an intimate spot by the waterfall, where he could propose to his fiancee. It was the first time I got to experience someone else's proposal. Sumy didn't expect such highlight of the day, and, of course, she said yes.
The location offered a number of picturesque shooting spots, including a lake, a manmade waterfall, an obelisk raised by George II, and part of a ruined city imported from North Africa, Leptis Magna, which is a Roman City site, in preset day Libya. The ancient monuments gave the oriental feel to the Asian pre-wedding shoot.
