Macdonald Berystede Hotel | Female Asian Wedding Photographer London

Macdonald Berystede Hotel London Asian Wedding Photography

It was my very first visit to Macdonald Berystede Hotel London. As a female wedding photographer London, I get to see many venues, but never had a chance to come across this hidden gem. When I first arrived, the bride was having her finishing touches done and dupatta fixed. We then soon after proceeded to take shots of her carefully chosen jewellery, outfit by Monga's, shoes by Aldo, mehndi design, and, of course, make-up. At this beautiful wedding I had an opportunity to help out and freelance for Irfan Rafiq Productions

Quick solo photo shoot at the hotel Macdonald Berystede Hotel London prior to the ceremony. The hotel is a marvellous venue in the heart of  which offers the ambience and sense of a luxurious rural retreat. The hotel's sweeping oak staircase and romantic chandeliers provide the ideal backdrop for the bridal wedding shoot.

The traditional Islamic Nikah ceremony took place at the bride's home. When I got there I was excited and surprised that a generously-sized marquee was erected at nowhere else but at the back garden! Once the guests gathered together, the bride's immediate family headed outside to meet and greet the Baraat. The groom and his family were welcomed to the house when soon after the Nikah took place.

As a female photographer London, I have a unique opportunity to access ladies-only events. After the groom had signed his Nikah, I walked into the bride's room where she also signed her Islamic marriage certificate among her family and closest friends. It was a happy and emotional moment not only for the bride but also for her guests.

During a small break the couple and I headed outside, where the facade of the family house became a perfect background for our couple shoot. This was soon followed by group shots, the rukhsati and the couple leaving.
